About Us

The Old Finchleians Club has been at the heart of Finchley’s sports and social scene for over a century. Founded in 1901 by alumni of Christ’s College, Finchley, we’re now a lively community of more than 800 members, brought together by a love of sport, friendship, and local tradition.

Our home is the beautiful Memorial Ground in Woodside Park, North London. Weekends here are full of competitive football and cricket matches, along with golf society events and veterans’ games. Our teams play in leagues like the Southern Amateur League and the Saracens Hertfordshire Cricket League, and we proudly take part in AFA and Old Boys cup competitions.

But the club isn’t just about sport. Our fully licensed clubhouse, with its bar, function hall, and dance floor, is a friendly space for members and the wider community. It’s available for private parties, social gatherings, and celebrations, catering for up to 150 guests.
